This is an account from a Soldier s Diary written in the form of short stories. These deal with handling of emotions and experiences of a soldier based on real life incidents faced by a soldier in day today life.



Author Bio: Shubhojit Bhattacharya Born and brought up in Bombay Lt Col S Bhattacharya is an alumnus if the National Defence Academy and was commissioned in the Regiment of Artillery. He has graduated on the Long Gunnery Staff Course and Technical Staff Officers Course. Apart from numerous staff appointments he has also served on deputation with the UN for a year. He is presently commanding an artillery unit in an operational area.

He has always been interested in writing and has been a regular contributor to Army journals with professional and theme based articles. A few of the stories in this compilation have also see print in certain Army journals. His wife, Santosree, a professor in junior college and daughter, Sweta are based in Calcutta.
