The work is an analytical study of the four Nikayas-Digha, Majjhima, Samyutta and Angutta. The work deals with the basic and homogenous text and contains five chapters and three appendices. It gives us a bird`s eye-view of the material contained in the Nikayas and is a real help to those who wish to be acquainted with the contents of these ancient texts.
