Dr. Islam Ali is an Assistant Professor of Political Science at Zakir Husain Post-Graduate Evening College, University of Delhi (India). He has done his M.Phil. (2001) and Ph.D. (2009) from the Department of African Studies, University of Delhi (India). He did his doctoral work on Women in African Politics: A Case Study of Nigeria . He has published several articles on African issues in reputed journals. His interests lie in the areas of African Politics, Gender, Political theory and Comparative Politics.
Dr. Ashutosh Trivedi has done his M.Phil. (2002) and Ph.D. (2009) from the Department of African Studies, University of Delhi (India). He did his doctoral work on Women Empowerment and Socio-Political Development in Ghana . He has also been involved in research with non-governmental organizations on education, environment, health and other issues. He started his teaching career from Kirori Mal College, University of Delhi and at present, he is teaching in the Department of Political Science, Satyawati College, University of Delhi (India).
