M.K. Ramachandran (b. 1956) is the Principal of Sree Sankara College, Kalady, Kerala and has served as a Senior Faculty in the Post-Graduate department and Research Centre in Economics, for nearly three decades imparting instruction at degree and post-graduate levels He passed M.A. Economics in First Class from Madras University, M Phil (Economics) in First Class from Kerala University and MDBA in First Class from the GMI Institute of Management and Technology, Kochi. He received his Ph.D (Economics) from Mahatma Gandhi University, Kottayam, Kerala.
Apart from the publications and research papers presented in Conferences and Seminars, he has closely been associated with research works and served as Project Officer, Project Team Member and is at present conducting UGC aided projects. He is a member of the Board of Studies of various Universities and is also serving as Associate NCC Officer with a Captain's Rank. The Author has received many Awards, Certificates of Merit and Commendatory Letters for his outstanding performance in the social field.
