Part 1 written by Prof. Harihar Singh gives a detailed account of Jaina buildings available in the forms of stupa. rock-cut caves and temples, and structural temples spread throughout the country. Besides, i l discusses the architectural materials contained in the Jaina canonical texts as they copiously make reference to both the religious and secular buildings. Part II authored by Prof. Tiwari discusses the sculptures of the Tirthaiikaras and their Yaksas and Yaksis. other Jaina gods and goddesses. Bahubali. and such sculptural manifestations as Samavasarana, Sammeta Sikhara.
