Lt Col Behram A Sahukar was commissioned on 14 Jun 1970 and served in 3 Para. He retired on 30 Nov 2003. He did his M Phil in 1999 from JNU and has been a Research Fellow at the Institute for Defense Studies and Analyses. He has traveled widely through the world. His areas of academic interest include terrorism, Middle East, India-Israel relations and radical Islam. His present research at USI was under the Field Marshal KM Cariappa Chair (2004-05).
